At the beginning of the pre-season when we hold info night we try to get parents and volunteers to complete a form that asks who is interested in either day or overnight chaperone roles. Assuming we have 8-10 people on that list we will send a targeted email to that list of folks who expressed interest during the first week of February requesting that they confirm whether or not they’re willing and able to chaperone at the Duluth Regional (first week of March). Those who are interested email Ms. Lee directly and get a background check completed. If we need additional chaperone interest we include an ask in the weekly update email letting folks know we need X number of chaperones and to contact Ms. Lee if interested.
